Angela Merkel: It’s too early to say when COVID-19 rates will drop

Berlin-East: German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that it was too early to determine when rates of Covid-19 infection would drop to a level that would justify lifting the restrictions imposed to contain the spread of the disease.

After her talks with the governors of the 16 German states, Merkel said that it is not at all time to announce the end of the crisis.
