Sergey Lavrov: We are ready to fulfill any Iraqi request in the field of armaments

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed Moscow’s readiness to fulfill any request it receives from Iraq in the field of armaments.

Lavrov stressed in a joint press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, who is visiting Moscow, that Russia has been and continues to play a very important role in ensuring the defense capabilities of Iraq and arming its army and security apparatus, especially in light of the existing terrorist threats in the country.
