Trump: If Iraq treats us with respect, we will not impose any sanctions on it

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that America would not consider imposing sanctions on Iraq unless he treated it with respect.
Trump added: “If America is to leave Iraq, it will leave Iran with a much greater foothold.”

Trump also said he would like to withdraw US forces from Iraq “at some point.” Adding that America “wants Iraq to carry out its security.”

Trump considered that the withdrawal from Iraq would be the worst thing that happens in this country, noting that the message that spread yesterday about the withdrawal was wrong and did not bear a signature, and he does not know anything about it.

US President Donald Trump said that the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Qassem Soleimani was “planning a major attack”.

Trump added that America had been tracking Soleimani for a long time, noting that Soleimani “was accompanying the founder of the Hezbollah Brigades, and many lives were saved with his death.”

The US President stressed that his country “is ready for any possible Iranian response and will respond in turn.”

In a parallel context, US President Donald Trump said he would abide by international law regarding avoiding targeting cultural sites in military attacks, reversing a threat he had launched against Iran a few days ago.
