Mr. Nasrallah: When the coffins of the American military begin to return to their country, Trump will realize that he has lost
05 Jan 2020Mr. Nasrallah says that the date of January 2, 2020, is “a history separating two stages in the region,” and he says that the just retribution for the assassination of Soleimani and the engineer is the American military presence in the region.
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said that the date of January 2, 2020, is “a history separating two phases in the region.”
Nasrallah’s words came during a memorial service for the two martyrs Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and their companions, in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah considered that we are not faced with a vague assassination, but rather a very clear public crime, because whoever gave the order and executed it recognized it.
Nasrallah said that the assassination operation was such a scandal, due to two reasons, one of which was the failure of previous assassination attempts.
He revealed that the last assassination attempts of the martyr Soleimani took place in Iranian Kerman, where the Iranian authorities arrested a group of Washington agents who were intending to kill 5,000 people in Hosseinieh Kerman, in order to assassinate the commander of the “Quds Force” in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards General Lt. Qassem Soleimani.
The second reason is due to a set of conditions in the region and failures, to the recent developments in Iraq, as the assassination came at a time when Trump is accepting presidential elections without achieving any achievement in the Iranian issue, whether by imposing sanctions on Tehran and retreating from the nuclear agreement.
Just retribution is the US military presence in our region
Mr. Nasrallah also confirmed that the just punishment for the assassination of Soleimani and the engineer is “the American presence in the region, from bases and battleships and every American soldier on the territory of our region.”
But he denied that this meant targeting American citizens and civilians in our area, saying: “They should not be harmed. Touching any American civilian who serves Trump’s policy.”
Nasrallah asserted that Soleimani “is not parallel to any character of retribution, and his shoe is equivalent to Trump’s head and administration,” adding that the Americans “will come out humiliated from our region and the martyrs are more present than before to achieve this.”
He said that the response to the assassination is to end the American presence in all of the region, where Trump will realize that he “lost all the region when the coffins of American officers and soldiers begin to return to their country.”
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah believed that with the departure of the Americans from our region, “the liberation of Jerusalem will become closer than ever, and we may not need a fight.”
And Sayyed Nasrallah considered that the martyr Soleimani “is not only an Iranian matter, but rather it means the whole axis of resistance and the nation.”
He directed to the axis of the resistance saying: “Iran will not ask you anything and it will decide, but you have to decide what you intend to do in retribution. We have to determine our decision to respond, because the issue is targeting you and not only targeting Iran. We should all go along our region to the just punishment.” .
He added, “There are those who talk about retribution from a figure parallel to the martyr Soleimani, but there is no parallel personality.”
Faces of American failure
And Mr. Nasrallah identified the faces of the American failure in the region, which led it to expedite the execution of the assassination operation.
In Lebanon, the failed Trump project, as well as David Satterfield’s threat to Lebanese officials, failed to bomb Israeli Hezbollah installations in the Bekaa if they did not remove them.
Trump also failed, according to Nasrallah, to pass the deal of the century as a result of Palestinian steadfastness.
In Iraq, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah said that the Americans “now feel that they will lose Iraq and its goods, the most important of which is oil by Trump’s recognition,” especially after the formation of an Iraqi government that bothered the Americans, the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi went to China and refused to close the borders with Syria.
All of the above, in addition to the Iraqi government’s refusal to be part of the campaign against Iran and its refusal to liquidate the Palestinian issue, precipitated Trump’s decision to assassinate the two martyrs, Soleimani, the engineer, and their companions.
The confrontation started
And Nasrallah stressed that “the confrontation started from the first night of the crime,” adding that the confrontation “started from Iran, which Trump sought to frighten, through the positions of its senior leaders and officials.”
Nasrallah called on US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, saying: “Sit tomorrow in front of the TV to watch the swarming crowds in Tehran, as I followed them today in Ahvaz and Mashhad.”
The second liberation of Iraq
Nasrallah said that the whole world is awaiting the results of the Iraqi parliament session on the law of removing American forces, adding, “The American goal must be dropped in parliament, otherwise honorable Iraqis will not remain an American soldier in their country.”
“The weakest faith in responding to the crime is to remove the American forces and liberate Iraq from the occupation, and the blood of the martyrs should lead to the second liberation of Iraq from the American occupation,” Hezbollah Secretary-General told the Iraqis.
